Sons of Fortune
Author: Jeffrey Archer
This one kept my attention! A set of fraternal twins are
separated at birth. One baby was sent home with his birth mother, the
other was sent home with a very wealthy, elite family. Both twins
grew up to be well known men, one for wealth, money and power, the other
for intelligence and heroism. The men tend to cross paths several
times in the story, all the while not knowing they are twins. One of the
twins happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and needs a
lawyer to represent him. In this court battled case, one twin represents
the other and the story progresses from there. I would recommend this
book to anyone who likes a fast-paced mystery. It kept me turning the
pages.

he sees a face in a house where two children already live.

The Mystery at Lilac Inn
by Carolyn Keene
This book is about a girl named Nancy
Drew who likes to solve mysteries. She visits her friend, Helen, at Lilac
Inn. In this book, Nancy encounters some kind of an underwater creature
and she almost drowns in a shipwreck. Nancy tries to solve the mystery of
Helen's stolen necklace and she does some sneaky tricks to try to figure
out who is behind the strange happenings at Lilac Inn. What I really
liked about this book was that it always kept me guessing, like who stole
this or who did that. One thing I didn't like about this book was
that Nancy's friends, Bess and George weren't included in the story very
much. If you like uncovering clues and trying to figure out
"who done it ", then you need to read this book.
